“Safe in Sounds” is a gift to the viewer aimed at calming their parasympathetic nervous system. Three hives buzz with a tone containing different frequencies which are known to have beneficial effects (432 hz, 232 hz, 150hz) on the mind and body. Those hives are then connected to a tin can emitting a binaural tone which has been shown to reduce levels of anxiety. The tones in the tins are layered with additional sounds (a meditative metronome at 80 bpm, a tone overlaid with affirmations, and a tone overlaid with ocean sounds containing a self-healing subliminal message.
